We spent the 4th of July this year here in the valley. It was around 113 degrees that day, so Cameron and I spent most of the day relaxing at home...reading, napping, etc! It was nice! In the late afternoon we went to my mom and dad's house for a barbeque. It was us, mom and dad, Sarah, Derek and the kids, Tyler, Julie and their baby Michael, Julie's sister, Brian (Katie is in Boston, but we talked to her on the phone), Connie, Carrie and Abbey. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, dessert and then some of us went off to the fireworks while others stayed behind and just lit some sparklers! It was a good day.

That was a fun time! Connie wanted to leave to put Abbey down for bed later on in the night, but I made her stay for the sparklers! Kent and Gloria do a mean BBQ!
